ABcie
The Advice and policy committee This committee consists of members who have been with Uros for at least one year and occupies themselves with the future of the association. This committee organizes the board considering the long term. Things that occupy this committee are the creation of financial guidelines, controlling and maintaining the policy plan, and other perennial processes

Inkom committee
The Inkom committee is occupied with the promotion of Uros, the preparation of Uros activities, and the planning during the INKOM!
Of course, the committee tries to make Uros noticeable among all the other student (sports) associations. We like to activate as many people as possible to join the most fun sports association of Maastricht!
Because sport is very important Maastricht knows an overarching organization representing the interests of sports associations, called the MUSST. This organization organizes many meetings in which among others the Inkom is discussed. Next to that, the Inkom committee meets regularly to come up with fun activities, find mentors who lead a group of new students during the Inkom or find people to help in other ways. The committee starts early (around February), because then the first deadlines will be determined. The preparations do not ask for a lot of time, only during Inkom this committee is very active, but that is also a lot of fun!

Kasco
The internal auditing committee occupies itself with financial matters. The committee controls the work of the treasurer and checks if he/she does a good job. Next to that, the committee functions as an independent party of the board. Finally, the committee advises the treasurer in the execution of his/her tasks.

Members Weekend Committee
The weekend Committee is in charge of organizing the annual member’s weekend.
The purpose of the member’s weekend is to give (the new) Uros members the chance to get to know their fellow Urosians and create friendships through fun activities.
Time effort per weekend: Over the course of 3 weeks around 2 hours per week

Promocie
The promotion committee is working on Uros’ image and promotion in several ways. First, it supports the PR & Sponsoring commissioner in her quest for new sponsors and discounts for the Uros members. Next to that, the promotion committee can help with tasks related to the association’s clothing brand. Then, it helps promote the association, by for example coming up with new ideas to increase our visibility. Moreover, the committee can help the vice-president with the handling of social media. This can for example includes helping find ideas about new content and posts. Finally, the committee members are also responsible for creating Uros-related content. Meaning taking pictures and videos at events, which can then be shared on social media.

Steddie Committee
The committee is in charge of Uros’ very own magazine: the Steddie! Our dear journal reports stories about various topics, such as activities, competitions, and of course some gossip within Uros… The members of the committee are then responsible for the redaction of the magazine. This can include writing articles themselves or finding some fellow members to write some interesting stories to share with everyone. Steddies are published 4 times a year.

Competition Committee
This committee is responsible for making sure that Uros is represented at competitions. It helps with the organization, such as the logistics of transportation and accommodation for example. The most popular competitions for Uros are the Batavierenrace, the Veluweloop, the NSKs (national student championships), or the UMCs. Another important competition is the annual Uros Team race. It is a running competition in which teams of 4-7 members cover a distance of about 5 km together.
In case you wish to only be involved in the planning of one competition, it is also possible.

Alumni committee
The Alumni committee is a committee, especially for the Alumni of Uros. We organize annually returning activities to make the Alumni membership worthwhile, such as:
- The BURP team at the Batavierenrace, especially for alumni members of Uros;
- Annually returning activities, such as a drink or dinner.
Next to having fun, we would also like to know what it is like to be an alumnus. Are we doing a good job or is there room for improvement? All tips and comments are welcome via email to bestuur@uros.nl. We will make sure to take them into account.

Trainingsweekend Committee
The trainings weekend Committee is in charge of organizing the annual trainings weekend.
The purpose of the trainings weekend is to give Uros members the chance to train and get to know their fellow Urosians.
The training weekend combines the two key components of Uros. Training and having fun. During the weekend, you can practice various disciplines and just enjoy yourself and play fun games in between training.
